Poem I wrote on my bus ride. I was kinda sleep and food deprived. It's pretty much just me going crazy and giving myself advice.

As you tumble through life, enjoy the ride, and
Forget all those people who failed and died.
Press on through it all, remember your goal.
Only the strongest will free their souls.

Every person you meet has something to teach.
Know when to shut up, fight the urge to preach.
Opinions are false, they only waste time.
Next time you have one, mimic a mime.

Be quiet and look at the world around you, and
Let go of the thoughts you have always been bound to.
Then, and only then, will you know the way, and
Start to mold yourself like a ball of clay.

Finding the way is so simple it's sad,
Though, to follow it is to be called mad.
Make the choice now, before it's too late.
A life lacking meaning is for those who wait.

yeah that definately reminds me of a bus trip poem. it is really a trip of all the unique people and experiences you'll find on the bus. i have gotten a lot of inspiration from riding the bus as odd as that may sound. it was a very well put with the advice given.
    awesome dude

as far as matching syllables, this is one of my lesser thought out poems. at the time i wrote it, i thought this meant it wasn't very good. i'm glad to see the meaning was understood, however. looking back on it, that poem marked one of the biggest turning points in my life. if i hadn't chanced that bus ride, i would be a junky and spiritually dead-living a life lacking meaning, because i chose to wait. thank you for your responses. it means alot to me.
