Hey, i dont know about you guys, but i suffer from technology-is-out-to-get-me syndrome. I dont know if this is a general hippy thing that we are incompitant with technology of most kinds. Please, i would like to know if anyone else suffers from this. And remeber, if you hate pop-ups then youll be with me!
I hate pop-ups, but I love technology. I love gadgets and devices. I love the explosion of high tech equipment. Technology can do wonders, and I think any utopian future would have to be a technological future. I can't see the human race going back to yurts and tipis. If anything can, it will be technology, ultimately, that saves the planet from human excesses....
hehe i can deal with technology though it is developing faster than i am and i am becoming incompetent a little. though i have an older hippie friend who lives in a bus, and he had a very interesting meeting with 'modern gadgets' last year which had me in stitches....his reaction to objects such as the electric tin opener was hilarious
I love tee-pees! I would love to get up every morning (At 12:00ish) in a tee pee and light a fire and just survive in the wild in a primitive way.... It's better than having a society that is taken over by machines and fules the war machine! :indian_ch
