    As most RC's seem to have high body loads, I thought a thread directly addressing body load reduction might be appropriate.

    Reported Methods:
    Fresh Ginger
    "Ginger is a mild anti-emetic and sucking on crystalised ginger
    or sipping ginger tea can help to relieve the nausea."
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motion_sickness

    Diphenhydramine HCl
    OTC
    Marketed as: Benadryl, Dramamine, Gravol, several generic brands
    Sold as sleep aids, and for motion sickness.

    Possible Methods:
    Meclizine HCl
    OTC
    Marketed as: Dramamine "Less Drowsy Formula", Dramamine II
    Sold for motion sickness

    Scopolamine/hyoscine
    OTC
    Sold for motion sickness.
    Used as transdermal patch. Related to Jimson Weed.

    Thanks a ton for the info. I'm guessing that this could be applied to all antihistamines, and tropanes. I wonder if this applies to all anticholinergics (or as they are more commonly refered to here, deliriants).

    Just for reference purposes here is a list of antihistamines:
    * mepyramine (pyrilamine)
    * antazoline
    * diphenhydramine
    * carbinoxamine
    * doxylamine
    * clemastine
    * dimenhydrinate
    * pheniramine
    * chlorphenamine (chlorpheniramine)
    * dexchlorphenamine
    * brompheniramine
    * triprolidine
    * cyclizine
    * chlorcyclizine
    * hydroxyzine
    * meclizine
    * promethazine
    * alimemazine (trimeprazine)
    * cyproheptadine
    * azatadine
    * ketotifen

    Scopolamine/hyoscine/atropine are in a bunch of natural substances: belladonna (deadly nightshade), mandrake, henbane, and datura.

    As a side note: Muscarine (in amanita mushrooms) and Nicotine (cigarettes of course) both have the opposite effect of antihistamines, and probably will increase the body load.

    Has anybody tried doing a psychedelic with a high body load with cigarettes or with an antihistamines (allergy medication)?

    I ate 33mg of 2ce after preloading with 100mg of diphenhydramine and had ZERO body load.....as we all know, 2ce produces a hellacious body load, usually. I also smoked plenty of Newports and it didn't seem to make a difference on body load.

    The only bad part about diphenhydramine is that it makes for a drowsy ass trip and you end up falling asleep earlier than you would like, usually before the trip is over, and you have crazy ass dreams. haha

    *EDIT* With the diphenhydramine, 2ce is actually comfortable and relaxing.

    Did it actually change the trip? Do you think it usually isn't comforting because of the body load, or was the trip/experience actually different when combined with diphenhydramine?

    Well, it kinda took the edge off the trip and killed any anxiety I had and just let me sit back and enjoy the visuals. We watched Fear and Loathing during that particular trip and it was crazy. I actually thought I was tripping on acid and mesc while we were watching it.

    If I don't eat some benadryl with the 2ce, then I puke everytime and my body gets kinda sore too. With the banadryl, complete comfort and no puke, ever. I will probably use ginger next time, to avoid the drowsiness though. The benadryl is nice though if you want to trip out a few hours and then go to sleep comfortably.

    I smoke like a chimney, never really noticed any contraindications on 2c-e. But at this point even 30-35mg of 2c-e doesn't give me any body load anymore. I think maybe I've just done way too much 2c-e in my day. (Great stuff isn't it...:))

    Have you noticed your 2c-e tolerance go away if you stop for a long time? Has the body load gone down proportionally to the effect of the drug. (eg. you get the same amount of body load and high from 30mg as you used to get from 20mg)

    I spent a month of 2c-e after doing weekly for about 2.5 months and my tollerence did drop significan't, like ~20mg = ~25mg, but I still have some long term tolerance. Though there seems to be some correlation between 'drug effect'-to-'body load' but it doesn't seem to be a linear relationship. For a similar 'drug effect', I get far less body load than I did when I started, if any. When I first started the body load was minimal to begin with. It seems the body load is more severe for some, much more mild for others.
