I've always been absolutely dead against coke... in any form... but recently I tried ecstasy because i was seeing a guy who did it a lot... (never ever thought I'd do that) and I really enjoyed it. He also does coke occassionally and I wasn't too happy about that... BUT now after talking to some people about it I'd kind of like to try it... just once.. to see what it's like. Problem is I'm not seeing him anymore so i can't get it from him... and I don't really know where to find anything. I was wondering what people's first-time experiences have been like?
The first time is always the best. Erowid is probably going to have more information on this than Hippie Forums. They say it makes you feel like you're the fucking shit. You feel more on top of yourself than ever before, you feel better, stronger, and faster. But, if you never try it you can't addicted to it. That having been said, I'm sure you will be fine, especially if you approach it extremely cautiously. However, it's a risk that I don't feel like taking, and a drug that I could probably live without. I like psychedelics because when I do them I actual learn something about myself, I feel like they are constructive. Tripping has made me a better person, I don't think too many people could say that about cocaine.
I don't think the first time is the best... i think it takes a couple of tries before you appreciate the feeling... idk because when i did it my first time, i remember thinking "i think im high, but is this what people are throwing their lives away over?".. but after a few tries, i began to realize how powerful it really is unfortunately i think alot of people fall into the trap of hearing how after one line, u'll instantly be a cokehead . Then after they try it for the first time and find the effects to not be mindblowing, but rather euphoric (like what i thought my first time),they underestimate its power and it goes from once a month, to once every two weeks, to only on the weekends, until they are stealing money from friends just to get some more blow. It seems only after they are in too deep to get out do people realize how addictive coke really is.. sorry for the run-on sentences... i just can't seem to cut off my thoughts when im stoned
I have another question - didn't want to start a new thread on it... what is the cocaine 'drip' people talk about? and also... I don't really know anyone round here who does it (again - got interested in it through someone who I no longer see...) - is it better to do it with people and in what setting is the best/ or does it not really matter.... thanks in advance!
I've done cocaine once. It lasted 2 hours and then I was out $100. It was exiteing and worth a try to see what the buzz is all about but for someone who doesn't make thousands of dollars weekly, it really isn't worth it. Plus one of my friends has gotten into it and started selling. He IS raking in hundreds of dollars every weekend, but he himself is an addict and now he has started doing freebase, which is little more than a glorified version of crack. Plus, he's a fucking coke dealer, and coke deals are the ones where people get themselves shot...

my first time was nothing special, I mean my friends and I were very talkative, and it was enjoyable. i see some people get cocky on coke, and it kind of messes with my high. The thing with coke is that I don't really like it, I don't hate it, but I'd spend $50 on it to do it again...
my first time using coke was wonderful, but the settings and everything wer JUST right. most times after that ranged from unimpressive to unpleasant. i never do powder cocaine anymore, and have never used freebase cocaine (and never will) however an opportunity to try coca tea and or cocaethylene may soon present itself, and while i'm not a fan of cocaine in general i probably will give this a shot. cocaine is tremendously addictive for some people, but for people like me who dont care for it much its not so bad - if used only very occasionally. if you dont use it, you aren't missing out on much. you aren't garaunteed to be addicted if you try it, but you're garaunteed not to if you dont try it. its a waste of money, because it is a VERY expensive drug. a big problem with potentially addictive substances is that you generally aren't hooked right away and are lulled into thinking you wont ever be, and it creeps up on you. if you decide to try it, be careful. its trite but true to say that most addicts only intended to try once or twice and never do it again...
I’m the quiet one at the bar rarely starting a conversation and very passive even when drinking. First time on coke in an unfamiliar bar left my group just walking around feeling like Robocop I saw a big group of people pushing and shoving each other over the pool table split it up calmed everybody down problem solved feeling like the baddest fucker on the planet Enuff said

you realize you're in the gateway right? not wanting to try it, then moved up to e, now coke even though you previously didnt want to do it. you've an addictive personality i can tell. stay the fuck away. seriously, i can tell you'll be sucking dicks for blow in a year or so. im sure you'll have some hard core coke evangelists say do it once you won't get addicted and that im wrong, and they will out number me. you probably won't listen to me. but im telling you. you're in the gateway. run.
