I've been to the Rising Sun before. I'm not form Reading, but have worked there for Amnesty before with a mate from the area. The Sun's a wicked place to go, love the artwork....

Oh Reading brings back such happy memories:)

I used to like chilling out on the Rivermead fields by the Thames. Cycling around the precinct in Caversham village. (Apparently the forbouys newsagent was closed? not so long ago)

I also liked going to Mapledurham and going in and around the Bluebells. The best thing was listening to 2ten fm. From the 70's, 80's and best of today. 2ten fm, your better music mix:D

Reading has changed since I was there by way of the Oracle which has made the little river inlet waterside much more attractive. Before it was literally wasted space.

As a kid in Reading, I used to go to Avenue School up in Whitley. I used to go around the St Marys butts shopping centre and sneak down to the basement.

Memories also include Womad and the Reading Rock Festival.
