Hi, i dunno really why i'm asking this [because i don't think that how long your hair is matters, it's the thoughts that makes you], but what do you all people around think? does the length of your hair counts to be a hippie??
i'm pretty sure as soon as someone sees a guy with really long hair they think "he's a hippy" but there are many other "cliques", i guess you could call them, that have long hair i concider myself a hippy maybe you consider yourself a hippy i'm sure most of the people here consider themself a hippy but it's not the hair that makes them that way
i've got sort of a Beatle haircut at the moment, I've had pretty long hair about 3 times this last 3 years, i always cut it to a Beatle haircut and then I'm saving it again to be long, haha i can't really decide how i want it
the beatles from '64? bowl cut or from 67? kinda long but not past shoulders maybe even 68? pretty damn long (except McCartney with his mullet thingy)

i think that your length of hair has nothing to do with being a hippie. it just seems to go with the label to have long hair.. my hair is only shoulder length and i am considered a "hippie".. just to do your thing's the hardest thing to do. but do it anyway.. your hair is just hair.. just be a good person.. with or without long hair.
There are crowds of guys with long hair in streets....no hippies among them....maybe 1 out of 500... and i love long hair! guys, please don't ever cut your long hair!!! (just kidding)

most of the longhairs I know are offended if called a hippie. If long hair makes you a hippie, are all Sikhs hippies? How about pentecostals? or all Rastas? that said, I let my freak flag fly from hairline to butt..and ever onward...
people are just people, it is not about clothes, or how long is your hair, cause it is just a hair and it could be cut of in a minute but the most certain thing you can not loose is your view on life...what counts is what is in your head not on your head.
