New Smashing Pumpkins 7-7-07

Just learned that their new efforts will be released on Saturday 7-7-07.

Has anyone heard who will be in the line up besides ego-master Billy?

 

ah, that blows. i don't think they should get back together. i really want to see another james iha record.

 

I used to be SUPER obsessed with the Pumpkins, and if I would have heard about this three years ago, I would be pissing myself, haha. But now I'm not so excited, becaue I'm nervous it's gonna be a shitty record, and a lot of emos are going to be into them. I never want to see that day... I really hope it's gonna be awesome- that would make my year.

 

oh, and to answer your question, Jimmy the drummer from the original lineup is gonna be back (thank god!)

Just heard they'll be playing the Live Earth concert at Giant Stadium.

Coincidentally 7-7-07, the day of their new release? I think not.

LAME.. I loved em both, the band was great together, they should pick a new name and move on...

 

Perhaps Ego Corgan or maybe something little more creative like Zwan...
