I love Kasteel. I was drinking it two nights ago. Very potent and very good. It can mess you up if you overdo it.
Pressed. I see you know something about beer Kasteel comes in dark and light version.. the dark one gets you stoned bit quicker.. you're very right..never overdo a few of these brews Brigand is not bad either..same brewery as kasteel.. Tiger
stoned doesnt just mean inebriated via cannabis, though in many places in this day and age it IS used strictly in that sense. stoned has also often meant high on other drugs or even just very drunk. ever wondered why they call it "stoned"? its cause you look and act like you've just been barraged with rocks. i dunno if he means drunk or not, but it CAN mean that. ive never had kasteel or brigand, but i'm a big fan of belgian beers in general. among my favorites are chimay cinq cents, gulden draak, chimay grand reserve, brasserie du rocs, orval, duvel, and on rare occasion as a desert or a special treat i'll go for a lindeman's kriek or pomme. hoegaarden is pretty good, too, especially on a hot day, and i can thank rat for pointing me in the direction of both that and chimay cinq cents. i have to say though its made in belgium stella artois does almost nothing to impress me. though as i understand it what we get in the states is quite different from what you get back in europe
