I will be spending two weeks in Rochester on business next month. Any locals have any advice on where to stay? I am hoping for a area with pubs or other cool hang outs withing walking distance from my hotel. My company is paying for my room so I'm not looking for budget lodging just for an area that will be fun to stay in. I will be working in Victor, but I don't mind driving a bit to get there in the AMs.

Any advice? Any suggestions for things to do? I was last in Rochester in 1988 seeing the dead, so I have no idea what the area has to offer.

    Thanks!

Thanks Jeph- I ended up staying in Henrietta. Only three more days to go until I return to the 40 below Alaska weather. It's way to crowded here for me.
