I am constantly having dreams where I have seizures. In the dream I am usually with people I know or at an event with a bunch of people and all of the sudden everything gets cloudy and I just drop and start seizuring. I realize I am seizuring (in the dream) but I can't stop. Eventually I tried to wake up because I knew I was dreaming, but I couldn't do it at all. I had to wait it out. It's been happening for about the past two or three months and I have not once had seizure in real life and its starting to freak me out a little bit. Also the dreams only last like 5 minutes but it feels like forever. Does anyone have any insight?

Are you sure it is not sleep paralysis you are having? Because i just figured out what it was a few weeks ago when i was having the episodes. It either happends right when u go to sleep or right before u wake up. Your mind wakes up before your body while u are in r.e.m sleep, and you can not move or speak at all. You are basically paralized, which somtimes you hallucinate during the episodes, but differs from person to person. It can be very scary. when i first started having them i figured i was dreaming about having a seizure or somthing. but i asked my doctor and he said it was sleep paralysis, which is a sympton of narcolepsy. which you do not have to have to experience SP. You have them mostly when u come right out of a dream. and you can also have lucid dreams very easily while this happends. I was told that(the sleep paralysis is normal and harmless. alot of times while it happends it seems like u are still dreaming but u know u are awake alot of the times. anyways i figured i might take a shot and see if thats what u are experiencing.
