I come from the good ol' state of west virginia, which is proud to be the first state in the union to equip its police force with devices that can scan your eyeball and detect whether or not there is THC in your system. Pretty fucked up, and sad that so many tax dollars are being wasted on said devices.
i really dont think it would be worth it for the government. i mean whats the punishment for being stoned? 10 minutes of court with a petty fine? i bet they wasted alot of money on this
But this also means that they can test for stoned drivers, something that was more difficult in the past; which is hopefully a step towards decriminalisation as one of the arguments I've heard against it is: "There will be people driving everywhere stoned and we won't be able to tell!"
if you cant tell, why worry about them? and I cant believe science these days. shit. that doesnt even seem possible... article or pic of this thing?
Because a lot of the Anti-Marijuana groups say that there is no quick and definitive THC test, to test if people are driving high. Having that puts a damper on their argument.
It's funny that West Virginia is the first state to do this. I used to live about twenty minutes from the WV-PA state line on the Pennsylvania side and would always go buy my marijuana paraphenalia in Morgantown. It always seemed like a cool state that met most of my illicit needs.
^What part of WV have you visited for paraphernalia? The city I live in has a pretty rad head shop that you may have been in.
