has anyone heard this that if you play DSOTM synched with the wizard of oz that it like mouths the words or all sorts of other wierd shit? well either way i'm totally going to do it me and a buddy of mine, once i get my basement done, are gunna get stoned and see if the phenomenon is real

i'm kinda doubtful about it cuz if i'm not mistaken the CD version of DSOTM has different track lengths and whatever but i'll have to check that out..
folks have known about this for a long time, it synchs up really well! Start the CD when the lion roars the second time at the start of the movie, and its a real exp. One ends before the other though, but the timing of it is really surreal.
yeah i know it's been known about for a long time it's even on wikipedia but i wanted to see if for myself so when the MGM thing with the lion comes on that's when you start it? at the second roar?

I saw an article about this, and a guy did a test where he also watched DSOTM synched to several other movies, and he concluded that it's all in our heads. According to the article, Forrest Gump actually works much better than Wizard of Oz. Try it with Forrest
it never fails. all these threads about dark side of the moon and the wizard of oz synch, like its some brand new discovery. Ive seen so many threads about this subject in these forums for years... someone should do an archive check, to see how many threads there have been over this. ok, since Im done with that rant...... Im gonna say yes you can synch both movies, its okay, Ive done it a long time ago, then I had seen a floyd lazer light show where they synched the whole dark side with the wizard of oz, it was ok...... its not this huge jaw dropping experience, let me just say this. yeah, there are some cool synchronizations, but you could get that with any movie and any album, if you think about it. the only thing that was really neat was the great gig in the sky sequence during the tornado..... other than that, bah... you can also synch pink floyd's echoes with the jupiter and the space beyond sequence in stanley kubricks 2001 a space odyssey (yes, that is the sequence that involves the monolith chase, and the psychedelic colours). there are a hell of a lot more synchronizations, but I dont know why most people use pink floyd to do that, I think its because it takes a stoner mind
