On the news, they said that they'd done a study and now they've figured out that HIV people (im tired dont want to use proper grammar and shit) can smoke weed and be relieved of pain... Another step in the right direction
this has been known for a while. My neighbor used medial cannabis to ease his cancer/HIV symptoms before easing into death. Without cannabis, he would have suffered a lot more.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070213/ap_on_he_me/medical_marijuana;_ylt=App3OrSYyTFvKM0nfa4jUnnVJRIF They're not just saying it helps with pain; we've known that for a while. The study was for peripheral neuropathy, an HIV-related foot pain. Smoking three times a day a week, subjects who received marijuana reported pain reduced by 1/3. Patients who received THC-free marijuana reported about 15% reduction. The study is being defended by researchers in Montreal, conducting similar tests and deeming it reliable. Of course, the NDCP is trying to shoot holes in it.
