al it says to me is how hyper-political these awards show organizers are. it was a good album, but it wasn't THAT good. i have no faith whatsoever in any of these awards associations or their shows. this is just further proof of why. i neer watch them, i just don't give a rat's ass.

lol...well, they've got balls...too bad they don't have the brains to use them properly. not that they didn't have all the right in the world to be embarassed about bush and say so...just that, seriously, did they ever take a massive dump on their core audience. and now THEY'RE the one's being all huffy about the fact that those people (whom they HAVE TO KNOW are unforgiving) now refuse to support them or buy their music is just embarassing. just more celebrity bullshit. and now the same people that wouldn't spend more than 10 minutes listening to their music award them overwhelmingly for their political statements instead of musical talent is more aggravation. i like the dixie chicks' music, but not 5 grammy's worth.
