a new carving

    I thought this looked cool. I wish I had the tools to have made it into a small jewelry box, but oh well, maybe one day. It feels nice too, I've never made something that sands so smooth. It is from a piece of a black cherry my parents asked me to cut about 2 years ago. I've been waiting to use it for a long time.

    Thank you. I thought it turned out really well. After I finished it last night, I was moving it around under the light, and the wood grain looks all holographic or something. Like it changes colors from shiny white wood to dark, I didn't know it would do that.

    verym very nice. that sheen is one of the best attributes to cherry
