Has anyone tried coconut water...like by ONE or any other brand? I read great things about it for cramps, pms, dehydration, excercise, exhaustion, etc.

It's not sold around where I live so I ordered a case of it online today.

Always better straight out of a coconut!! Look at the list of ingredients on the side of the can. Lots of poisons. If you can get whole coconuts have a shake to see how much milk is inside. Lots of uses for the flesh too.

Young coconuts are actually the best for drinking...They have 2-4X more water than those older brown coconuts, and plus they have a meat which is softer and much more edible. You can get them @ most asian markets for like a buck 50 and cheaper if you get a case...sometimes you can find them at organic/health food stores.

Thanks... well, that was already ordered so I'll drink them of course but I'll check an asian market in the future. I tried the health food stores around here before I ordered online and they didn't carry coconut water.

Oh sea breeze, I'll double check but what I bought (google "coconut water one"- it's not in cans (like that cheap stuff at the grocery store) and I'm pretty sure there arent many if ANY poisions in it) :)

I read somewhere that the juice from young coconuts can be used as an alternative for blood plasma, but I don't know how reliable the source is.

I used to buy coconut water in a juice box that was listed as 100% coconut water from thailand. It was pretty good, I like it much better fresh from the coconut, have to keep my drill handy to tap into them

You'll have to let us know if it helps with PMS, because I get horrendous PMS and would love a natural way to ease that time of the month for myself as well as everyone else around me. [IMG]

HCM- Yeah, I'll let you know. That's actually why I ordered it because I read an article in a magazine where some woman said she had pms and cramps so bad that nothing else helped and that did.

And Acocado- I might have to look into that also. Skimmed the article and that's really cool about the high amounts of magnesium in them. I get migraines and anxiety and well- I have begun taking magesium supplements and I haven't been getting headaches at all and heard magnesium is great for all those things...

Raw chocolate and baby cocnuts have cures the physical symptoms of my pms. When Avocado Noni told me this I thought he was full of it...but man it worked!!! No more cramps! I used to take codeine for my cramps, now I don't even have to take a tylenol!!!
