Do we teach them the most fundamental of all truths...that the garden is our mother?

No! we sit their young, loving, trusting, innocent little asses in front of the great-big-glowing-box-thingy...turn the channel to the Pit bull Bible Thumper's latest rendition of the Hypnotic Zombie Drone Chant...set the timer to a lifetime...flip the program switch to ON and distract them while we go away to have more me-me’s.

Our babies learn to hear the words even when there is no sound!

The nature of human nature is Mother Nature and the mother of nature is the garden.

 

Dude chill out. I don't even believe in god but damn. There is no point in complaining about life because it's only going to depress you. Just try and look at things a little more positively.

I agree with you to a degree. It almost makes you wonder what life would be like if it was slightly altered, and a bit more lighthearted. I say we break the circle, dude. Let's jump into my time machine.

 

Animals do certain things...flee, feed, fight, and fuck. We feed to do the other three. Humans with their advanced brains have a more advanced form of those three. We flee, fight, and fuck with more passion and more of an ability to garner followers because of our abstract thinking. So nature made us this way. I don't follow your thought pattern.

 

I hear this all the time. and my question is:
Now that you know, What do you intend to do about it?

 

We ARE nature…this earth, the food we eat, air we breath, water we drink. Harmonic resonance goes to the core of our being. So what ideology has our more”advanced brains” abstracted as a “reasonable" way to govern our interactions with each other and this planet?

Unfortunately for you and for me and especially for the kids on this earth our civilization has been “programmed” to believe that the great big thingy in the sky is the ultimate authority. Monotheism creates the “elite” class: the priests, judges, CEO’s, owners, bosses, politicians, police, and bureaucrats. We are not taught to think logically. We are taught to conform. We are taught to compete. We rape and we pillage and we call it consumerism and we teach our kids the same things and we tell our kids that nature made it that way!

God was dead on arrival and has been on life support from the get-go. As long as We the People fill the pews of monotheistic idolatry then we have our hands so far up Gods ass that we’re moving our own lips…”Believe!”

Without this abstraction every one of the magical beings on this planet would be valued for our true contributions to the health and well being of our communities.
Our nature is to believe in ourselves. Our intuition is to trust our own “abstractions”.

 

I know plenty of children who play outside all day rather than watch tv
