ok i have an idea and would like some opions on it good and bad. but if yur going to leave a bad opion please be nice about it:)

ok so on your floor there is one of those littel kiddies pools.(the plastic ones that are like 12-20 inches high)

on top of that is palat and on top of the palat is what ever type of pot or bukcet filled with what ever medium u are going to use and the plant.

u place the bucket with holes in the bottom of it over one of the slit in the palat so that yur solution will fall into the kiddie pool. and u have yur water pump with a hose into the pool to suck up the solution and another going into the plant.

now i didnt include a lot of details suchs as lighting, solution ingredients, etc. but would that system work for the watering purposes? thanks

Yeah, that should work. But I would be careful of three things.

    1. You don't want your growlights to shine directly into the resevoir (causes algae build-up). Use some opaque plastic film, or something, to block the light.
    2. Make sure that you don't pick up any "contamination" from the pallet (you don't know where it's been). Make sure that the solution drips back into the resevoir without leaching potentially dangerous substances from the pallet.
    3. Use something to support the weight; other than just the sides of the kiddie pool.

I liked how you invited both pos & neg opinions and prefaced with "nice".

I'm a little high but it just sounded so good.

And I will try to be nice.

When I read the post I thought "now here we have a really bored stoned creative inteligent human being that would certainly never REALLY use that system to grow with.

But it would work like TH said with caveats :) (Warnings) Ithink.

Just seriously do some research man and build yourself ....with little hep from yo fiernds...... A BADASS HYDRO SET-UP

dude... you basically have an ebb and flow.. when the tutorials said "use your imagination" they meant exactly this... you can use about anything for any known system.. i use (for example) old socks and boots sole all shred up in my pots cause we don't have perlite back here in Romania... anyway.. it's a nice ideea you had there.. instant inflatable hydro.. you can use your pool for a simple bubbler tho... an air pump is much cheaper and you don't have to use timers for you water pump... PLUS.. your kiddie pool doesn't have to support the whole weight of the system as you can use polystirene as a float for your pots ... keep up the good work tho.. it's guys like us that make things happen... i personally am working on making a hover tripod for my camera... would revolutionise filming everywhere if i get it just right :D

Haha... if only we could film all the methods we knew collectively for hydro grows.
