was very simple. my boyfriend and i both aren't old enough to drive or anything, so he came over to my house. he gave me a beatiful necklace last weekend and today he brought me an incredible card that defines our relationship exactly. we just hung out in the basement with my neighbor and sister and he had dinner with my family. it was simple, but wonderful. so what did everyone else do?
I got a really beautiful card that Justyna sent me from Poland-she wrote me a handmade card-she wrote verses from the Song of Solomon that she thought applied to me on one side of the card in Latin, and on the other side the translation of it in English. She included in the card a picture of her from the back, with her back and shoulders exposed, and her long blonde hair flowing down, perfectly braided, as she looked in a small mirror, surrounded by beautiful antiques. It was just an absolutely perfect present for Valentine's Day. It made me incredibly happy.....
I promise I'm not even lying, but I didn't notice it was Valentine's Day until I read your post...lol. Speaks to my level of isolation, I guess. Well, am glad you guys had a good Valentine's Day!
I didn't have Valentine's Day. I had Valentine's Evening. I just had to wait for Mike until he get up and sit in front of the computer. Then we were just talking for hours like we often do and felt so good with each other. I could just hear him breathing - he doesn't have to say anything. I love to feel he is with me. And he was - very close although on a different continent. I wish I could touch him, kiss him now - but I have to wait few more months. Someday I will... And I was so happy, because the card I sent to him a week earlier came just on Valentine's Day like I wanted it to. It was the first Valentine's card I sent and Mike is the first man I really, deeply love. I love you, DQ, Boobalah!
And I hope I'm the first and only! And I love you, my Polish snow bunny, the girl of my dreams...:flowers:
