Well I live in maryland, And I smoke alot, But I do anything, including goiing out of my way to help someone in need, especially if the've hellped me. I'm not doubting the existince of those people, I'm just saying beware of stereotyping.
and regardless of how free you are, It's neigh impossable to shed "civilised thought" this includes our current topic, as well as ideas of Responsability and accountability. These aare things were born with. It's not responsability, It's knowing your place. If one of those "partiers" were in the wild, they would either live or die. That's it. Farbeit from you to dictate the means of their survival.

Face it, no one wants to hear the complaints of someone crying about not being able to smoke a joint on someones property, which is EXACTLY what the dude was cryin' about. Most of us have been around the block enough times to scope a person who just wants a party. When someone opens up thier fuckin' HOME to strangers, FOLLOW thier rules. Dropping outta' Babylon doesn't mean becoming irresponsible.

P>S....: Let's not forget that the person that started this thread in a PERFECT example of what the "rest" of us are talking about. Feel Free opened up thier home and apparently he FUCKED them over.

yall think were just cynical babstards... but the amount of times i personally and "i know hhb very well and im sure guy smiley and zoomie have too"been fucked over by the haphazardly thinking cats..(hopefully you dont) then you might have an understanding of where were coming from.. "and on the contrary my fine friend i am smiling as i type"i love my life and i have certainly lived an odd one.. but i have expierenced plenty of the good and bad and that is where i make my opinions... once again do i love you all.. YES.. but do i feel i can totally let my guard down around any one and feel comfortable.. HELL NO.. its all the cats that conjure up notions from what they see and hear.. and not what they expierence.. get out on the road live life and find what you want.. i am rainbow till i die.. and if it wasnt for phamily i would be dead.. but do you think every person i crossed paths with was all happy go lucky.. no.. i got told thing i didnt want to hear and for that i grew to who i am today... when some one comes to me with an asinine comment (that if you smoke weed, you will have to leave. uhh I'm sorry, but that is very lame. Any better commune out there?) im going to do the same an let them know..there is no common sense anymore its all "rare sense" i would walk with anyone hand in hand.. as long as were all on the same page and that is willing to grow and change.. i dont want to revert back to old ways as i was growing up i want to continue moving forward and i want the same for all my brothers and sisters.
    blessed be to you all

say thanks measa for explaining your position and disagreement by putting forth a calm and rational post rather than spitting out aggressive and degrading banter

I also apologise. Give me a sec to explain. I'm a contractor, but I do mostly HUD work. One of the few programs our federal gov't has that actually WORKS. They set aside money to help those in need, people whose houses are falling down and cannot afford to repair them. Without these grants and low-interest loans they would end up on the street. I come along and repair their houses and get paid for it. Not well, mind you (it is a government program) but I survive. I have to hire people to help, some claim they are experienced carpenters, but seldom are. I turn my back and these two have taken $3000 worth of tools to the pawn shop and bought crack. While I'm chasing down the first two, those two are sharing a six pack on the job site. Which will get ALL my HUD contracts pulled. So yeah I had a bad day.

Now you would think that doing a job that helps people in need, and helps other people in need by giving them jobs in the process would be a good thing. But what it does is open up a whole new can of whoop ass regularly. I think what it all comes down to is babylon=bad because babylon people=bad. After 5 years you don't know who to trust and you want to just close up shop and run for the treeline.

I haven't lost my faith in the human race. I've just lost my faith in so-called "civilized living" There's nothing civil about civil war and damn little civil about civilization.

    My apologies.

I totally agree with you guys, This worlds a fucked up place to be in, and noone cares about each other anymore, and it seems like all our personal values have been flushed down the drain, the things that connect humanity as a whole are gone. I'm trying to escape it, trying to find a way out, but nothing seems to pull through. I'm looking for someplace to go, but communes seem to be work oriented. (I don't have a problem with working, but I'll never produce anything bought or sold, sell anything produced or bought...you know the line. I just dont want to be a part of it. Gardening, hunting, no problem I'd love to do it just for the sheer fact of being able to. but pencil pushing, consuming, I cant do it. I wish there was somewhere to go, and as of the moment, I'm looking for it. I'm sorry, I ramble, I accept your apology, thank you for it, and recognize that it was just a misunderstanding. Like I said, I look up to people like you, you have the freedom we've all dreamed of.

Add insult to injury, I went to pick up one of my one-eyed crackheads because he lost his license and got pulled over and detained by the Annapolis city cops. Apparently someone matching my description, driving a vehicle just like mine attempted to abduct a child. After an hour they let the kid look at me, then the neighbor, then the parents, before they let us go. I guess the kid's word wasn't enough.

I gotta get out of this sickness.
