I believe I read this in an experience once, but I am not sure. Is it possible to just take the pure crystalline Salvinorin-A, but it on a spoon, torch the underside of the spoon, and just inhale whatever white mist that comes off? I have a feeling that this is dangerous in terms of dosage, but will it work? Or will the crystals just carbonize? Or would it be more effective to dip a piece of cigarrete paper in some 99% IPA with Salvinorin in it, and then just smoke regularly? I'm curious, I plan to extract Salvinorin A to a high purity, I kinda need help considering my options. Thanks!
it can be vaporized off a metal plate on a lab stand. Siebert did this. some people think he did it with a butane torch off of tin- foil - he is so legendary. In my opinion you cannot vaporize salvinorin without a lab. here is a vaporization test for people with vaporizers: put some 10x in your vaporizer (or 20x) and vap it. then take it out of your vaporizer and smoke it. I bet you have 95% activity in the salvia extract. I tried to vaporize some pure salvinorin with a torch on a metal screen in my pipe and it just went runny and dissapeared. the most effective thing I have been able to do with extracted salvinorin is to put it on cigarette paper (dripping as evenly as possible) -this lets me divide doses very accurately - stores flat, and since I put ~22mg on a single cig paper 1/48th is a perfect dose for me. that little slip of paper with salvinorin dried on it combusts in a tiny pipe in about one second - nearly no inhaled heat, nearly no smoke, think of it, how about 1/50th of a wiff of a cigarette with no tobacco or anything?
So, you think I can just take maybe about 15mg and dissolve it into about 1ml of acetone, and just dip the piece of cigarette paper in it and let the acetone evaporate? I assume it will absorb most of the salvinorin. I wish there was a more effective way to use the pure salvinorin. Seibert sells his 98% purity for $20 per mg. I plan to get at least 325mg or so. Is there any way to really convince someone that it is $7500 worth of salvia? Unless of course, I dissolved only 1 mg onto a cigarette paper, but I have never tried smoking that, I wouln't know how potent that is (maybe it depends on how short the pipe is, so less of it condenses). Because from what I hear, even 1mg can be an intense dose.
