If you were granted 3 wishes, what would they be?

1. Find my true love

2. Win the lottery, so I can pay off my bills, pay off my parents' and my mortgage, donate to charities and the poor and travel around the world.

3. Eternal health.

Am I dreamer or what?

 

1. Write a great book of poetry or a novel.

2. For the ones I love to be happy.

3. To fall in love with all it's greatness and it's turbulence. I want to feel it all. Love is not love without it's ups and downs, it's heartfelt moments and it's heartache. Love is hard, and I can accept that, even embrace it.

And because I want to, I'm adding a 4th:

4. To be financially independent from anybody else. To make enough money from my writing to live happily and comfortably. I do not want to be obscenely rich.........but it would be nice.

 

1. That my son will have a healthy, enjoyable lifestyle, one where he has a very optimistic and bright personality with the toughness it takes to be important and respected in this lifetime.
2. To be able to get over his mother and I splitting apart entirley, and to be able to learn how to trust girls again and possibly be able to learn how to love a girl who is right for me, one that shares the same love and passion for music and art, and can hold her own without needing to be so damn clingy! :tongue:
3. To be able to skip like, 30 years of the mental struggle that is preventing me from sailing smoothly and rapidly on the path of perfection (or as close as possible to perfection as one can come) of my greatest selfish passion, the skill to be a powerful, professional nylon string classical guitar player, with my ability being based around playing in a style rooted in similarity to that of my greatest inspiration, J.S. Bach! I have been playing the classical guitar for almost a year now, and it is F'in hard as shit!

 

BTW, what a wonderful and creative idea for discussion you've come up with TigerLily77! I am very interested and filled with wonder as to what everyone's true wishes deep down really are! We all have our dreams, I think it is great to be able to share them online here and read what others are dreaming about, and comparing the to your own. And it's always cool to see people who share some of the same dreams.

I think that covers just about everything

Or better yet:
1) The ability to have completely self-sufficient biological processes (no need to eat, sleep, stay warm, etc).
2) A new and completely random superpower every day
3) Full permission to lay siege to Beverly Hills with medieval styled paintball weaponry

2. Win the lottery and become a millionaire (money doesn't bring you happiness but it sure as hell helps!)
3. Find a way to make the world to be a better, happier place without poverty and its side-effects

Edit: My 2nd wish would be to find a cure for HIV/AIDS, not the lottery thing.
