If Vader could choke people from afar, why didn't he just choke all the Rebels? Never understood that.
Line-of-sight is important when using the force to choke an opponent. Apparently proximity is not, because Lord Vader was able to choke the Admiral from afar. Hotwater
The force was strong within the Rebels (at least the main characters), and the light side of the force was protecting them from such direct evil. Captain Needa, on the other hand, was in the dark side's mercy... which didn't do him no good...nope.
The practice originated within the gay community to help bond with a mate, then spread into the heterosexual community. Hotwater
Firstly, if I didn't SAY it, then I didn't IMPLY it. Your weird sense of reasoning puts words in people's mouths which sounds silly. Secondly, Chief, with your reasoning, all homosexuals are sexual predetors, all black people are gang members, all native indians are alcoholics, and all catholic priests are child molestors. One thing doesn't mean another. A gay person is just gay, a straight person is just straight. A straight man is not attracted nor does he want to have sex with every single woman, realistically, just like a gay man doesn't want to have sex with every single guy. A shower is just a shower. If this basketball player's team has a problem sharing a shower with other guys of any sexuality, then I'm sure they all have showers at home they can wash in.
I noticed that these has-been celebrities make crude comments about gays to get a few minutes of fame in the limelight. For example, Grey's Anatomy. Now, Tim Hardaway. Where the yell has he been? All of a sudden, he is banned from attending the All Star game. On a sidenote, if you are gay and proud, your career blossoms; i.e. Ellen. I think sexuality should be kept private. And, if you don't like gays or transexuals, etc., then pretend you do. Why ruin your career or make a fool out of yourself. Just my ten cents...
On the court, a basketball players mind should be on the ball, the goal, and the position strategically of his teammates and the other team. If he's judging anothers prowess on things like that, he's a weaker player. Personally, I think it's overhyped. Homophoibas gay.
what about it, if the team is on the road? the only shower that exists in that whole entire town that they're in is only in the locker room? People have got to stop being such pussies about this sort of issue. That teammate would be gay if he came out or not. Who knows how many other athletes are gay and their teams don't know about it yet. And if you get checked out in the shower, well that's one of the risks you take when you shower in a room full of naked people. Group showering, if you really want to put a label on it, is pretty gay within itself. Besides, who cares? Ya see, if I was being checked out in that sort of situation, whether or not I liked the other person, then at the very least I'd think it's flattering. If it gets to a situation where you're being raped in the showers or something, then I'd understand that being an issue. But simply showering together, well, there's no harm in that. Again, if it bothers you to shower with other people, whether they're gay or straight, then don't do it. No one's trying to make an issue of you being straight, it really serves no purpose in you trying to make an issue of someone else being gay. Live and let live.
