First and foremost: FREE HUGS TO YOU ALL! Come and get one while you can! And second off- have any of you been in the city and seen a group of people holding signs, and you think its for some protest or something, but then you read the signs and they all say "FREE HUGS!" and to your surprise the people come up to you and offer you a hug??? I was walking around Berlin and I was in front of Branderburger Tor (Gate) and I ran into a group of poeple giving out FREE HUGS. And I thought it was such a cool easy way to brighten up peoples days, I know it sure brightened my day up for me. Why don't we all start trying that out? Ive talked with freinds and we're going to go out and do that somewhere in Berlin soon, Im thinking next weekend. Doesn't it just brighten your day? We have a Hug Brigade in Mpls. I think this idea really got popular after a video on youtube.

That was the best movie I have ever seen! The part where they got banned was sad though... This actually reminds me of something I have always wanted to do next time I go to some sort of big gathering (something like the rainbow family gathering, or Bonnaroo or something like that) is I want to "collect hugs" and get the signature of ever person I hug and see how many people I can hug in one day! That would be really fun, I think... Oh, the good vibes would be flowing!
and theres room in this hug for more people...spontsnius group hugs are amazing.. have u ever been in a situation where someones talking, maybe getting emotional or passionate & suddenly everyone just rushes up to surround them in a massive healling hug? ive been in group hugs with like maybe 250 or so ppl..& wow was it awesome
I have been in those types of hugs, but with far fewer people... I think it was Mary Tyler Moore, where their last episode ended with a group hug and they all needed a tissue, so they moved their hug to the tissue box? That is amazing...

It can be taken two ways, too. When the hugs were legal they were like The hugs are free! Then it was changed to "Free the hugs!" when they got banned...
