in the far very distant future there is a computer. and the computer's sole purpose was to make pictures. it made each picture by systematically changing each pixel on a monitor to all the colours possible in every combination, each change, even the smallest change in image was a new picture. this meant that alot of pictures were of random bits of colour. but at the same time there was a picture of everything in the universe and more. because of all the combinations there were pictures of george bush having sex with goats and what you are seeing infront of you right now was a picture and if you move your head a milimeter, that was a different picutre, all created by the computer. this meant people didnt have to take photos or create new ones because every possible image had been created. these were then all then named and filed so if someone wanted a picture of something they were going to do on their holiday next year they would have a chance of finding it.
Thanks..you just placed me back a few steps in my comprehension of the term "infinite"! Do you think Pentium is up to the task??
woah! i was thinking about something like that today, but it wasnt as crazy as that, i was thinking if u set up a camera on a tripod and took a pic of something , then the tripod like moved the camera to every angle that would still have the subject in it and the camera changed every setting like exposure compensation, focus, zoom, lens speed so youd have alot of bad pictures but a few "masterpieces"
i think pictures are far too 2-d. i mean ya it would b sweet and all to have a screen that showed you a picture of everything that does exisist (weather we know it or not), but everything is alot, alot of nonsense and randomness that really isnt very interesting. it would make a great screen saver though
well zen, youd also have everything in complete three dimensions too, because you would have a picture of everything from every angle and every distance and every environment. youd also have a movie of every single possible moving event. you see, even if you defined the cpitures to a certain resolution, which would remove the infinite aspect, along wtih defning the number of colours avaiable, even if the picture was 16 colours, and 10 pixels by ten pixels big, youd have .. more than 2.5 * 10^120 possibilities. tehre are so many possibililties that the technology would actualyl be absolutely redundant, because in order to search for a picture you wanted, youd end up with more than like 10^1000000000000000000000000 possible results for your search. and thats if you defined the exact position of all objects in the picture, and every light source. caus yud have to define the textures of everything, and the colours of everything, and yeh. and searching for the pictures would take so long, that the fasted physically possible computer (working with nanotechnology, quantum physics, everything) would take longer than perhaps the life of the universe to find results. so yeh that sorta stuff is inneficient to dream about.
