Thank you for your comments on energetic signature. I removed a line for clarity. You are so quick and present... your compliments on "Sleeping in" brought me joy and a surge of energy. Thank you for sharing your passions.
Would you like something to drink? Gorgeous...that first stanza is so sweet, almost playful. "Simple comforts, like the ability to reveal without words, dissolving in an embrace." That is so true...
This is wonderful! Your words here are passionate, simple, and effective. The imagery is just present enough to see this occuring (I love that chessboard there in the opening!), and it unfolds like a conversation without words. beautiful!
Now I realize I remember reading this piece. Very erotic!! My only problem was the word -musculature- it's too clunky sounding for my personal taste in this context. I liked how this poem was subtle yet perfectly clear. I see it as a slow seduction under the full moon.
Thank you Fulmah & KittenX for reading and commenting. I changed the word mentioned that didn't flow. I can see "Death arrives quickly" as erotic too... especially when I wish only for a burning silence to consume me with, all too personal, annihilation. I'm experimenting with blending erotic imagery with, what was once, a fearful view of death. Also working with mixing a respectful vibe into the conditioned passive attributes of the essential feminine. I haven't forgot your request Fulmah... just working with ascending from the subconscious swamp energy that is so present in foundation/kingdom sphere. You go ahead and soar in your beautiful passionate love songs... There is so much inspiration around you now... so close and so far. Standing in the center of the room to read this honoring of who you love. My blessings.
Would you like something to drink is elegant and so true...I smiled at tomato obsessions, and Malta is by far my favourite...spellbinding.
thank you so much littleskinny. i appriciate you reading this thread and your comments were sincere and heartwarming.
i loved these stazas...they're beautiful....the whole peom was beautiful and very deep from my interpretation of it but I in particular loved these... i think its fair to say that out of all your entries [amazing as they all are] thus far this poem's my favourite
Sylvan, I just revisited page 2, and man, you write with such depth, and get my mind churning over your words. Lilith, Sleeping In, and Death Arrives Quickly are incredibly good... my favorites... thanks for adding a little more glow than this full moon did tonight.
The hunter and prey in the jungle. Charged with seduction and animal instincts. An interesting piece.
