how long does it take for mdma to kick in?

Everyone seems to give different reports on how long it takes for the effects to kick in... I took just half and I could feel it after about 20 minutes (took the other half a bit later.. not sure how much later).
I'm not very big (8st 3lb and 5'5 tall) and I'd been drinking too - did this affect it?
I guess I also hadn't had much to eat - just a bit of toast.

Is this about normal or does it just depends purely on the person and the pill?

 

not eating makes it quicker. having alcohol in your stomach -seems- to make it quicker from what ive observed and experienced.

are you worried about something?

MDMA will effect you when it gets into your blood stream. if it took 20 minutes for a tiny bit to get there, then thats when youll feel it

 

For me it usually takes about an hour to feel somthing

My first time it took me an hour, Im 6'0" and 130 lbs, but after that its about 45 mins.

 

mine are all different... and def does depend on what else im doing... as in partying or not... smoking pot or not... drinking or not... those all make it come on much faster

i've done it twice, first time took an hour+ to feel it. second time, about 30 minutes and i was peaking

 

I automatically shift into the E state of mind as soon as I drop the pills. I know exactly how to bring myself up gradually and start doing stuff to bring myself up within 20mins. It'll stay at a low level if I think about it (until I get the full hit) but tends to kick in quicker and shows itself when you chat to mates or do something you'd normally do for fun (without thinking in your mind 'am I gonna come up? How long's it gonna take? Will it be a good buzz? There could be anything in these pills'). Thoughts like that on a come up can be avoided when it all kicks in (even if it takes a while) and kind of makes itself known to you. Hard to explain, but it kind of guides you in it's own way when you're up.

 

Seems to take me longer than yokes. Nobody should ever take any of this stuff on an empty stomach. Makes ut easier on your in the morning/next day
