I hanged out once or twice in Balboa park in some of my journeys.
Once the sprinklers came on while I was asleep and I had to get up.

It looks like Belmont is about 4 hours away, excluding traffic stops. Sometimes I go on weekend hiking trips near there, if you hike you're welcome to come along.
