Theyre very cool I can vividly remember the one I had last night. I was on the Island of pico and for whatever reason the Japanese were attacking us. So I was hiding out in a wine house. Then I decided I didnt want to be inside a building in case they tossed a grenade in. So I ventured outside and picked up a dropped weapon. It was some sort of chaingun like a C7. I killed two Japanese over the course of about 30 seconds, they were walking around a corner checking buildings. Then there was a japanese baby on the ground, not a baby maybe 2 years old, I guess thats a baby so I took it into a nearby building. I couldnt make up my mind what to do with it, I was pretty conflicted, so I decided rather than do something I would regret (even though it was a dream) I choose to wake up. It was very strange deciding this babies fate and then having the option to wake up or change this babies life forever. I also didnt want to end up dying in my dream, that would have been a downer. These dreams seem so real I always wonder if there is another reality where these events were actually taking place.
AfricaUnite, whats that with you and the Japanese guyes? I saw in my dream face of a dead person i know, and while dreaming I was saying to myself : "I dont wanna see this woman in my dreams! Its creepy? What does it mean?" So being aware that its only a dream i kept on dreaming and feeling evrethyng like its real... Some people try hard (by yoga, meditation, or pay billions for tech.) to experience a lucid dream. They are very storg and meaningfull... Can scare you a bit!
the lucid dream option? yeah, it's from vanilla sky. yeah that movie is a TOTAL mind fuck. if you haven't seen it. take a trip up to blockbuster. and say a friend reccomended it. i still ahven't gotten it yet. of course, i should watch it stoned. maybe i'll understand it better that way =]
i mean i get some parts of it, but the others, well damn. i'll probably never get it. i should smoke some dmt and trying watching it again =] now, finding the dmt. that's the hard part.
I have thos dreams all the time about zombies, I like zombies though so I'm always like "Please don't wake up!"
No, but I spent the night with my boyfriend about a month ago and apparently he said I was repeating "No David don't touch me!" and I could have sworn I was yelling at my other friend though.
But peeps, talking in dream is comleetly different thing than lucidity. According 2 me everyone has talked in a dream sometime... The guy with the zombie dream got the idea of lucid dream - i bet your dreams are prettty DAMN COOOOL !!!! I wish I was able to experience that vividness
You know, the only thing that keeps me from waking up from the lucid dream of life is that I feel connected to those within it. It makes me want to stay in it a while.
when you guys have lucid dreaming, are there just dreams your witnessing. Cause for me i can actually control my dreams like do whatever i want only sometimes though. Like once i wanted to make sure i was dreaming so i looked at somethin and took my hands and twisted them the object twisted. Or the other day was changing the weather. And this other time scared the shit out of me. I was half a sleep and all of a sudden i see my basement like full blown out see my basement like im lying down on the couch with my eyes open im like wow then i was back into my bed.
The one and only time I have ever had a lucid dream...: I was running down the street with my friends into a circle drive and they ran right through the houses and I stopped dead middle of the circle drive and looked around and said "This is a dream.." I waled around for a bit then tried to fly. I'd jump up and float a little then fall back down. I'd gert higher every time And then I fell onto my knees and look around and then I poofed myself to my room layed down in my bed then woke myself up. It was awsome being able to control my dream.
