Hi, Im new to this forum, and am wondering if anyone knows of anyone who has used the "Bright Star" method of MDMA synthesis with any success.

I... know someone... who is pretty adept at vacuum distillation, and has a pretty impressive glass setup and access to all the described chemicals. Also what are the common setbacks that one might encounter using this process?

Many people have reported success with the technique as written, but the "Methyl Man" variation on the reductive amination portion of the writeup reportedly gives better yields.

Info should be available over on Erowid or one of the other sites hosting mirrors of the old Rhodium info.

I just assumed the guy he knows is performing this in international waters or as part of a developing country's underbudget chemical research program.

Actually the guy i know is performing this in international waters for his own personal consumption... in international waters, while another friend operates the boat... online.

MethylMans write up has been reported to be quite a bit more forgiving for the new cook... Much less chance of failure etc.... Do what thou wilt........
