Do any of yall find that Rainbow Six Vegas is a terrible game compared to games like Raven Shield and the Splinter Cell games? There is absolutely nothign new in the game. There are significantly less weapons, there is absolultely 0 planning, and you can just send your 'henchmen' to just do everything. For shame Ubisoft, for shame.
I fucking LOVE every Rainbow Six game. In fact, it is my favourite game series (P.C.-wise) and it's not just the game, I'm a big Tom Clancy fan and have read the full novel too. I used to be a passionate Rogue Spear Online gamer until MSN Gaming Zone closed it down and I discovered the World of Counter Strike. I have to say I disagree with everything you say; although the gameplay and overall user interface is the same throughout the series, small things improve with each. Things like enemy AI and graphics/detail (big step forward from Rainbow 6 to Rogue Spear, especially regarding the detail inside rooms). Also, the audio used (like ambience and primary sounds) have a distinct sound on each. It's got a great sense of realism with the one shot kill method making it hard to complete a mission, all guns blazing. It requires planning and strategic thought on a lot of missions. Your teams won't complete a mission unless you give them Go-Codes. It's handy to have a team member save your ass, but also annoying when they complete the mission for you. Hence, the 'lone wolf' option, or the option not to give Go-Codes at all! Just let them stand 'in position', isn't it! Strangely, I'm not into that Splinter Cell one bit, and as for 'Raven Shield'; well, that IS a Rainbow Six game! I think your evaluation of the R6 series is truely dreadful.
Shit on me, my mistake; I didn't know you were on about Vegas as a standalone game. You were, right? If so, then naturally I'll delete the above!
