everyone, who has tried it, knows that vista is inferior ti any linux distro loaded with Xorg and/or Beryl with maximum effects. not only is linux faster and smarter and more secure, but we DONT HAVE TO BUY NEW HARDWARE to use it.

if your going to upgrade to vista, it would be cheaper to buy a Mac with OSX and NEVER worry about spending money on VIRUS software and the like.

ON LINUX, EVERYTHING IS FREE AND FAST. if you are scared to learn something new then dont preach about what you dont know. END OF DISCUSSION.

    cyber amen to that ....)
my thoughts exactly vista still has issues dirty code and driver incompatibilities for that price OSX would be a better choice.
I must say that beryl has been in use long before vista was released and it has only gotten better since vista is just a OSX rip off...

Well part of the scam in the computer industry is that the software players all have massive interests in the hardware industry and when the hardware industry nosedives like it has done and everyones got a cheap computer - the software industry ups the stakes so you have to upgrade massively to keep up with your friend who's braggin about the latest gizmo he got - but its all bullshit really - until vista these pentium 3 machines I run are working better than 99.99% of everyones pentium 4 machines simply because it aint worth having vista unless you got something you want to do with vista that xp cant and to be honest the only thing I ever saw vista do that xp cant is to rotate the desktop in 3d and some other fancy shit that would get turned off on my desktop as a waste of resources.

Nah if I wanted or needed a penis extension I'd be more apt to go for a top of the range bullet proof merc - bmw - or daimler

vista just dont cut it ! and its overblown trickery to make your balls look bigger in my opinion - just depends if you want or need that kinda thing
