I really don't understand why people hate moon phase so much and think it's pretentious. It is so wrong for women to feel good and empowered and in touch with nature during their periods? Why is that such a crime?

It's not! I think moon phase is soooo much better than being visited by Aunt Rose for example. More dignity, don't you think?

 

It's not a crime, it just seems awfully floofy. And, it's not like mine coincides with the full moon or anything. I just think that yoni is an ugly word and moon phase is floofy when used in terms of a period. *shrugs* nothin wrong with a personal opinion. I also think punani is an ugly word.

 

I don't call mine a moon phase, but I like the idea... incidentally my period isn't on the full moon, but my ovulation always coincides with the full moon, so it ireally is a moon phase.

Besides, most women's cycles are the same length as the cycle of the moon.
