thinking of getting some natural dreads this summer

whats better, using a soap bar to wash your hair with, or a natural hemp shampoo?

I use Dr. Bronners Tea Tree mixed with a little of the Dr. Bronners Peppermint (I love the smell!). You have to use what's best for your scalp and hair. Is your hair normally oily or dry? What about your scalp, dry and flaky or no problems? Bar soap usually leaves a residue if you don't wash it out thoroughly... just read the label, if you can't pronounce something, it probably isn't a good idea to put it in your hair.

Just experiment with both and see what YOU like best. It's not like you're marrying one of them and have to choose forever :p
