I am planning writing a novel about my adventures and my life on the web. This includes penpals, my experiences on forums and newsgroups, people I've met there and my thoughts on them... the debates on psychoanalysis I have started or/ and participated in...
What do you think? Is this a good idea? Would you like reading such a novel?

Judging by the common response of our narrow streamed forum channels, I would highly recommend that you base your novel/book/thesis on Pavlovian conditioning. Contributions here are as regular as a clockwork orange, but good luck and let us know how you get on. Most people's desire to write the ultimate book tends to wear off within ten days. Most can't even write more than 2 lines in a forum post:)

Go for it. Any topic that is written well can be entertaining.

Personally, after reading your posts in the politics section, I would say base the novel on the life and times of Martin Boorman or Adolf Hitler - you seem to be a Canadian right winger with a sense of history and a passion for nationalism
