So, I have tons of loose hairs... Especially in the back... I've tried the whole "crotcheting method", but I really don't know how to do it that well & the smallest crotcheting hooks aren't really that small... so the loose hairs just come out within a day. I've tried palm rolling, that helps at the time, but they still jump out. I've tried wrapping the loose hairs around the dread I want it to join and then kind of stuff the loose hair in the middle of the dread, but you can see the separation and it usually comes undone. I don't really mind the loose hairs that much & I know I'm whining (it's only been 2 months), LOL, but does anyone have another suggestion...

    THANKS!

Ok.... So today I'm having problems. It seems as if they are all coming apart now. My hair is so soft... I try to seperate them after they've grown together and all it does is ruin the dread. There are parts that are knotted up, however the hair still slips out... I look like a mess every day. I try to dress really nice to try to take the attention away from my hair, yet I still feel like it's not working... I don't know. Maybe I'm just having a low self esteem day, but ... this is annoying.

Be patient ;) .... but seriously we all have those days... if you really want to reintegrate the hair soon use those little dental flosser things... i cant remember what they are called exactly but they are escentially little loops you can use to pull loose hair into the locks. i think theres a thread about them somewhere in this place just not sure where... hope this helps

I've been slacking a bit in that regard...

I'm going to do wash tonight and dry... then I'll whip up a new spritz and drench em.

LOL, I think I'm just being whiny.

    I have the same problem.

On a few dreads I just put the loose hairs on their respective dread and pushed a bead up around the whole thing. You could use peyote stitches too...or maybe wrap some hemp around it. :) That way the hair will HAVE to stick together. It has nowhere else to go!

And salt/lemon water has worked wonders in my hair as well.
