Theres probably already a thread about this but is there anyway I would be able to grow phsycadelic mushrooms in say a basement closet? If not is there any other phsycadelic I would be able to make somehwere in the house?
Sure, a closet would work provided you had a light source for them (because shrooms, like most plants, are phototropic).
Yeah hard part is getting spore prints or a syringe to start off, but after that you just have to follow any one of a number of techniques that can be found at the shroomery. Apart from getting the prints or syringe, it seems that it would be easier than growing pot.
can you get the prints or syringe from dryed shrooms. where can i get them besides from out in the woods lol
Ideally, you could just throw some shrooms into a substrate and let it colonize. Provided they are sterile, which probably is not the case. You could always take spore prints from caps, which would be safer to administer by syringe. Consider the fact that mushrooms are somewhat tricky. Sterilization can be a bitch. Just research and trial.
Can't you only make spore prints from a cap that has not been dried? If you have dried shrooms, I thought that you could take a small portion of the cap and use that to colonize another ..colony of substrate. Am I wrong?

IDK, I've never had to make spore prints myself. You probably are right about the dried part. I too, have heard of people taking part of the cap (generally the lamellae, or "gills") for innoculation. That may be the best bet if a syringe is out of the question.
i have some caps ther old and dry i got them in dec but they are a lot older than that by now, will they work at all for ither prints or spors... or should i just eat them and buy some prints some where?

well when it come to growing anything... the Commonsense God tells me to find as much information as possible, such as finding a good site on the internet for growing shrooms like shroomery.org mycotopia.net im sure the shroomery will have all u need, i sugest going with the monotub tek
o and btw you cant get spores from any old shroom, the only way to get them is from mature shrooms. Everything is explained in that page ^
