if you turn down the tv and listen to the movie, it almost seems like the music goest to the movie. same thing with Phish's album rift and I believe the movie fantasia. purely coincidence though to the best of my knowledge.

It's true, it's true. Don't think it's an urban legend as some do, it works.

I think you play dsotm on the third roar of the lion, but sources differ as do rumors. But when it works, it's really trippy shit.

You don't have to be under the influence of drugs to see that it works. Obviously the music and film won't match up at every little moment, so don't expect that...but there are lots of parts that are pretty cool. I was impressed.

after the black and white lion roars, you press play on the cd player for DSOTM. It matches up perfectly, you don't have to do it under the influence of anything. i've done it both, but weed is more stimulating.

Our local theatre sometimes shows this as the midnight feature...
Testament to their genius & just another reason why Pink Floyd are one of the most important bands of all time. :D

Yes, i've done it before. Start the CD right after the lion on the film logo roars and turn the TV volume down. The CD takes alittle while to get going. The CD goes in sync with the movie. I've heard this also works with Pink Floyd's album Echos and the movie Space Oddysie 2001.

Fact: DSOTM sold so much albums that statistically, it should be playing every hour somewhere in the world and has been on the top 200 billboard charts for the past 15 years.
