Did you explain the facts of life to your children? My 5yr old son asked me the other day " how did women get babies into their stomach". We were in the Drs. office so I told him that we would talk about it when we got home. However by the time we returned home he had forgotten all about it, so I let it go. He will be 6 soon and I was thinking that we should begin to tell him some things within the next year. My husband thinks we should wait until he is a few more years older.
At what age??? When they ask questions. You can increase the content and the detail as they get older, but give them age appropriate answers as they ask. If what you tell them doesn't answer there question they will let you know and you can add more detail. Kathi
That's what I was thinking You can get some really neat age appropriate books too. I used to have one with a section of pictures of the diffrent stages of a baby growing. Used to love it.
