This coming summer I am planning on growing a couple crops here and there. I bought some expensive seeds lately and plan on planting a few of them far away from the other crops and letting the females get pollinated so I have a bunch for next year. I plan on puting these in a shack that would allow them to get about 3 hours of direct sunlight per day. Would this work? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Three hours of direct sun isn't enough for them to do really well! But if you line the walls with reflective material (mylar, or something like that) you will get a lot more light.
If you can put a opaque roof on that bad boy and follow ^ you might have a lil greenhouse on yer hands.
