did anyone else notice a similarity of this thread to that part of "half baked". this is the extended scene or somthing like that. lol

 

philisophy/unexpected.. i would say mostly unexpected.. mostly b/c when people find out i usually get the.. "what!?!?!?"

Ya, and since most of those are straight out of half baked im pretty sure that first one is supposed to be the enhancement smoker. Which is definitely what I am. You ever watch Radiohead's live at the Astoria dvd... on WEEEED?

 

Yeah... ahah, half baked is always like the comparison for people who grew up in the nineties. I need to buy that movie. I just watched Rolling Kansas for the billionth time. Rip Torn (Oldman) is the best part...

 

Unexpected Stoner - I'm in all honors/ap classes,and I'm seen as a "goody two shoes" by the majority of my school who knows who I am but doesn't know me well enough to know I smoke
Fuck I'm High Stoner/Philosophy Stoner - I very often talk about how high I am and what it's making me think of/feel
Paranoid Stoner - I'm not too bad here but more than most

I am certainly not an unexpected stoned.....people can just tell that I get fukt up. The whole world probably thinks I abuse drugs hahaha

 

I just jam when I'm stoned.

I'm also the one guy you see at concerts and festies that dances way too hard... even if the band hasn't come out on stage yet and it's just the house music playing over the PA.

 

Hell ya... easy to do when your blazed watching a good band or expecting to watch a good band.

 

i hate paranoid stoners. thay make me so mad.
and stoners who laugh all the freakin time. i only just got over that phase.
im more of the "on weeeeeeeed" stoner. because everthing IS better when your on weeeeeeed.

 

Yeah, to me, going to see a good show is like a spiritual or religious experience.

I don't care for talking about religion or politics much, especially in relation to each other, but I'm a Christian and I do have to admit I probably attend more concerts than I attend church services. I just don't like the organized portion of religion, most of the time. Doesn't really matter what it is.

I think there should also be a classification for the spiritual or emotional stoner, because I could fit in there too.

Me too. People actually ask me several times a week if I enjoyed my friends couch again, that couch is getting famous. :tongue:
I also like to ramble about philosophical stuff with my friends, but I haven't red those books yet, nor am I a nihilist (doesn't necessarily fits a philosopher anyway). One of my friends I toke the most with is definately a McGyver stoner, he likes to roll the strangest kind of joints and does it in no time. He also has a lot of stoner tools. It's just typical, haha.

Not everything, dinner with my parents for example. Well, unless they don't notice, but they will.

If there's a concert/music stoner, I'm one of them as well. I love to get blazed at festivals and gigs too.

 

Man I dont fit into any of these categories lol most people cant even tell when I've smoked Unless I smoked a lot, then I may be a little funnier

 

I'm a Pete's couch and everything is better on weed kinda guy, but I can get paranoid, only because the guy I smoke with is a pretty horrible driver, always running over the curb. We got into a wreck one time, but luckily we were not high and did not have any weed.

 

I'm an even mix.
A little of the philosopher stoner, but I'm too ADD to keep one topic to the conversation and too random to have only one topic going for too long.

The unexpected stoner: I was an award winning journalist and I was totally stoned all the time, and since I was always stoned, no one ever suspected me of being high, I never carried myself like what people think of as typical stoner behavior.

a mix of social and lone stoner - I love to smoke with people and I love to smoke alone walking outdoors and while I write. I'm a writer stoner.

The folkie-hippy stoner - I've always been down with the underground vibe

and a Medical Stoner - I became a "major" pothead after a horrible horse accident that left me with a permanent lower back problems and a pinched nerve from when I was on my college's Equis team.

I'm also a very serious stoner, I'll smoke any kind of weed, I can out smoke anyone I've ever met. I've only met one person in Washington State that came close to being able to out smoke me in a sitting.

And I'm a spiritual smoker - I smoke before I practice any spirituality.

 

umm.. philosophical for sure. i can talk and talk about conceptual stuff for a long time when i get high, usually something about time because time and the passage of time is so interesting. depends on the season and who's around though. in summer i am more of the 'relaxed, listen-to-music' stoner, whereas during winter im more of a 'veg out, play guitar' stoner and during school year i love being like an 'academic' stoner. id say most of the time im a philosophical stoner though, plus one my fav activities is just to look at all the colours everywhere

 

You forgot a few:

Body/mind stoner: Uses marijuana relatively sparingly, and usually as a means to reconcile imbalances of the body and mind (e.g. loss of appetite, insomnia, kinesthetic memory distortion, ect.). These people also tend to be of the unexpected variety with regards to temperament, but are generally immersed in either hobbies or a profession that makes their affinity for marijuana entirely plausible.


Destitute stoner: These people smoke marijuana habitually, with little joy, and in excess as a means of escaping the reality that they are entrenched in (for whatever reason). They also tend to be at a turning point in their life, yet remain utterly complacent.


Eccentric/Genius stoner: They light up almost exclusively alone and late at night, usually while working on a project of esoteric nature. The ones I have met consider smoking a 'mind-blink' of sorts that facilitates the onset of a different perspective to whatever it is that they're stuck on, and rarely employ cannabis for anything else. These stoners are also of the paranoid and unexpected variety, and are thus greatly overlooked upon inspection of who it is doing all the smoking.

 

"shit, this is fun" stoner. even when i don't do shit, i'm still getting my kicks. kick back with the euphoria

 

I guess I fall into the latter, though I don't care to advertise any of that and well, most people would probably expect me to smoke, even if I didn't, the way I am.
