So I'm sure a lot of other peoples towns are covered in snow, what do you do if you don't feel like sitting inside? Where do you smoke, and how do you beat the cold? obviously there are cars and all that, but has anyone done anything fun this winter involving the outdoors and snow?

heres what me and some friends did

since we cant really smoke in the dorms at the moment, there are just a lot of inspections now and stuff like that. we still use my vape all the time, but nothing beats a few blunts sitting outside. Unfortunatly, its pretty cold in NY right now, and theres a few feet of snow. the place where all the students go in the nice months of the year, just called "the creek", isnt the best place to walk to in between classes, its sucks walking through that much snow, and then having to find a decent place to sit and chill while you smoke.

so the other night my friends got up the motivation to build an igloo near the creek. they called me up and told me to come see the thing, and it was huge. about as tall as me, and about eight feet around. the inside wasn't huge, but it easily sits 7 or 8 people, we had 11 the other day. I built a big snow couch on the outside to chill on when its sunny and nice out. we wrapped stacks of news paper in bags, and use them as seats so our asses dont get cold. its always a good time, as the igloo is usually occupied by somebody. its good to get drawn back to all the other smokers at this school; the winters here always seem to get people locked up in their rooms, and lately ive been smoking with the same group of people.

so yeah, anybody else enjoy this winter? just go out and get stoned in the snow?

i made an igloo yesterday too, except mine wasn't as awesome sounding as yours. we had to use sleds for the roof, because we were too lazy to make a good celing outta snow. i'm glad someone else enjoyed the snow too :)

if you build the first half of an igloo while it's still snowing you can lay a tarp over it and by morning there'll be a nice snow pack for a roof.

best way to make an igloo imo if u have a tonne of snow is to just make a HUGE pile of snow and then dig into it

making cubes etc. and making an actuall igloo takes too long and isnt Air tight for hot boxes

thats exactly what we did, just made a big pile and carved it out. it still looks like the traditional igloo though, its all smothed out on the outside and looks nice. its 99 percent airtight, we just put a piece of cardboard over the door, with two blunts going around it fills up pretty fast. its actually too airtight, so every once in a while the door needs to get opened.

that sounds awesome, an igloo 5ft or so tall, fits 11 people, simply amazing. did you put a light in their? if you didnt you should, then find a piece of plywood infront of the door to hotbox it, that would be even better. (if you havnt done that already)

almost every time... most of the time we'll get passed a bowl or blunt, but if theyre being greedy with it we just tell them we built it and then they always pass it to us. in that way, our work definitely paid off
