That is my point, though, about rsponsibility; you would not allow a small child to get stoned, even if it appeared to enjoy it - the reason for this is because it is unethical to subject anyone or anything to potential dangers it does not understand.

Absolutely no different to doing it to an animal that cannot comprehend the risks, either.

Ergo, they cannot 'decide fro themselves'; yes, dogs are smart, but they do not have degrees in science or the abstract knowledge required to protect themselves from unseen dangers.

 

your dog is safe, but inhaling pot often has the reverse effect on dogs than on us, it makes them extremely hyperactive and confused. when my pitbull used to steal and eat my stash he used to run dashes around the apartment and jump on anything he could reach, he would also slide around on his back and wiggle around your legs until you rubbed his belly....i miss that dog

 

now wait just a minute i love to smoke up babies. they dont cry and they go to sleep easier, that way i dont have to knock them out. jk lol

you shouldnt have let anyone smoke out the dog if you were that worried about it. your dog will eventually die, they all do, but it wont be because of the smoke

You DO realize that most of these people in here are not even 18 yet, don't you? Sure, some of those people are more intelligent and mature than you and I are, but some of them, such as the really young stoners(14 or so), don't have the maturity to understand why it's wrong, which is understandable. I don't think it's wrong either, but only if the dog is obviously consenting. I think it's incredibly inhumane to get animals stoned without thier consent. I don't get my dog stoned, because he just doesn't like smoke. My cousin used to have a dog that would come and sit in the middle of the circle whenever we were smoking a blunt and we would all blow every hit in her face until she left, because she knew her limits and was as stoned as she wanted to be, so I believe that they are mature enough and instinctual enough to decide whether or not it's safe for them to consume. Sure, it's not proven that it is as safe for animals as it is for humans, but my cousin's dog was getting stoned since she was a puppy and lived 14 human years.

I just don't think it's as big of a deal as you're making it out to be. At any rate, what has been said on this thread is not a reason to call everyone in the MJ forums idiots. That's more judgemental and insulting than it needed to be. I could understand if any of us had insulted you prior to your post, but we hadn't so I don't see why you overreacted by calling names.

In all seriousness, you ARE cool by me and I have no problems with you, overall. I just really didn't like the statement you made calling us ALL idiots and I think you were overly judgemental.
