How Many Dreads?

just courious how many dreads do you have? are they spaced evenly between the sides of your head?

I have 32 dreads (one currently residing in a hair wrap) and i didnt plan to have32 (32 = favorite larger number)it just happened so i take that as a very good omen.

just counted 16 on each side... wasnt expecting it to actually be even. hehehe.

When I had my set of locks I think it was close to 50... I will share if I can figure out how to get my pics off yahoo and linked to here LOL

I'm with you, goat! New babies still appear occasionally, anyway... and once in a while I'll probably continue to find that neglect has caused a couple to grow together beyond the point of no return. (No matter how much I attend to it, sometimes I'll still find one particular spot on my head where I've forgotten to rip/separate just long enough!)

 

yeah mine have stopped growing together which is nice and in the last month ive had 2 new babies sprout up.

 

Does this work? This is really all I have for pics, it was when they were fairly new....you can see dates under the pics... I started them in Jan '02....

thats cool that you like the not knowing... i just have a thing with numbers and liking to count things... its odd i know oh well, it works for me

Dreadedhotness, your dreads look really nice you should see if you can get some new pictures, i would love to see how far they have come in 3 years

Thanks gyal! Unfortunetly i cut them off when I was about 7mths pregnant (in 2004), so I no longer have them :CRY: However I am trying desperatly to sell the idea to my husband again.... I really need them back, I feel like I have lost something of myself

 

sorry to hear that you cut them off. you should definitly grow them back again if you feel like you are missing something good luck getting you husband to be happy with the idea.

after getting mine i feel more complete than i ever did before.

yes, I am trying very hard to get him to agree with the idea, LOL
He says I have changed alot since our daughter came along, I now realize because I murdered a big part of myself.....Maybe that will be the selling line for him. I know what you mean about feeling complete, and right now I am feeling completely empty.... Which is why I started visiting all my old dread boards again, resurrect the love, ya know, for myself
