    LOL excellent :)
Hell now I feel ancient for just being born in the '80s (with all these teenage vegetatians around now). Surely it wasn't that long ago.

it wasn't. my KID was born in 91.
I'm literally a child of the 60s. (and my mom grumbles that I wouldn't leave)

Drumminmama--I didn't realize you were so "old!" Hahaha! I'm a fellow child of the 60's, and my oldest was born in 1990. :)

GOOD FOR YOU for making a decision to become vegetarian that long ago. I didn't wake up until about 1-1/2 years ago.

haha its funny but it's definitley written from the perspective of someone living in a best case situation today or atleast a very veg friendly area. my girlfriend's parents tell her that god put animals here to be eaten and refuse to stop cooking even their vegetables in beef broth forcing her to figure out not just a seperate main course every night, but cook her own fucking veggies...

my parents are pretty supportive though.

The next time you hear that line of crap ask them this - "well, mosquitoes, chiggers, gnats, and ticks eat on humans. Did God put us here to be food for them? If so, do we call the bugs "Master" or "Lord"?
