Ozzfest Free: More Heady or more Corporate?

So right off the bat, when I heard Ozzfest was free, I was shocked.....the Hippy Fests we go to are exspensive and still have corporate logo sponsorship everywhere. Now I believe since Ozzfest is FREE there will be major Corporate influence, which ones exactly I don't know, but in all reality I can't see how there could possibly be anymore advertising than the average concert....what really would this corporate influence be? In the end there has to be money for Performers and Workers, so why can't our fests be free???

 

I'm terrified to see what ozzfest will be like this year. If they aren't charging for admission then there has to be some aweful catch...maybe $30 beers or something to make up for it? haha

 

Ozzfest is apparently going to be sponsered by Monster.

I love music, but I don't think this will be amazing....

 

30 dollar beers, yeah that could be the catch....

 

I dont drink too much beer in the 100 Degree Atlanta summers, they can charge me for what i bring in.

I went to ozzfest 2001-03, i might make a return this yr.
