Concerts

On the 27th of march I'm going to a Ratdog concert. I've never really been to a concert before, much less an ex-grateful dead concert, and I was wondering what the chance of acid being there was.

I live in a real rural area so acid is nonexistant, and I just want to know if there would likely be acid there or not, and if it would be cheap.

even if they did monitor the forums, what lot have you been to that didn't randomly have a cop/security drive through, just to be an ass. as the crowd splits the cop drives over hundreds of deflated balloons, and a cloud of smoke billows around his lights. the cop obviously know what is going on, but yet, he continues to drive.

ratdog is awesome!! i had such a good time when i went to see em, im sure there will be doses there. you just gotta look around, that or molly. your goin to a show man, theres gotta be drugs somewhere, check shakedown before u go in if they dont close it down.

I don't doubt some form of authority keeps watch on this forum, but do you guys honestly believe they have the time and motivation to go to every rave/concert in which drugs might be taken, and hunt people down? Yeesh.

It's common knowledge that at just about any given musical event, illegal drugs WILL be consumed - that's why most venues have security enough to check people as thoroughly as they can (given the time constraints they're obviously under, to get everyone inside), if police had nothing better to do than stop and arrest people for taking drugs, they could go to any of these events and just stop people randomly.

Any police force worth a damn would never do anything like this. The smartest and most effective course of action would be to attend these events undercover, and try and buy drugs there, thus cutting off the supply at the source, and catching the dealer rather than the user (dealers are always a much bigger target than users)

...And they don't even do that, at least I've never once heard of a dealer getting caught that way, though I'm sure it must happen.

bobby doesnt like hippies... anyway no, there will be absolutely no mind altering substances at the concert you're going to, and if there are, the people who have them will be super secretive and you have to know their special password before they'll even talk to you about anything even remotely connected to drugs. if you want to get high, look to jesus.

 

yea feds are catching on to everything like crazy. the government dose crazier shit than you would think. Over the summer they were going to random festivals taking pictures of people selling and them busting them at other festivals. Im going to say strait up if you talk about were to get shit online you shouldent even be seeing those bands or festivals in the first place. I wouldnt bve suprised if they have checked out everyperson on myspace.
