It feels like i haven't been by here in years. How is everyone??? Who is pregnant these days? Ryvre (5) just learned to add the other day; he's so smart, i've been really lax with homeschooling lately, but i showed him how to add by ones one time, and he had it down. Crazy-brilliant little dude! He's still rocking the long blond hair, and people still mistake him for a girl because he's such a cutie. Some days he tells me he wants to cut it, but then he tells me later he really doesn't. It's all cool with me, but i secretly love the hippie child look Willow is 3.5, and still not potty-trained (*big sigh*). Any advice? We've tried rewards, time-outs, hanging out in the bathroom all day, the works. She just doesn't want to stop playing long enough to use the bathroom. i think she is physically capable (because she will some days), she just doesn't like to. Besides that she's a good kid of course, a little moody, but whatever She's not quite writing much more than her name yet, but she's tracing numbers a little, and she's been courting to about 20 for months now. Ember is 16 months old now!!! It really does go faster with each one. She's crazy, climbing up and down the bunk bed ladder already. No fear in that one. She does have the worst tantrums of all my kids though, because she likes to smack her head on the floor when she's mad. That is not so fun. But despite the tantrums, i truly love toddlers. The cute little dances they do when the hear a song they like (which for her is literally any song), the made-up words they say (i love how she says "Poo-ep?" when i ask if she's stinky, hehe), everything. Every time she hits a new milestone, i get really sad because she's my last "baby" and she's getting sooo big. *sigh* So, hit me with some updates! i miss you people
Hi! I've missed you guys! Bri and I got married in August. Fleassy and TARABELLE were there, Fleassy was my maid of honour. Moire's 9.5 months now. She's cruising furniture, crawling everywhere, climbing things, backing off the couch, saying "hi" "byebye" and "dada". She's still not really eating solid foods, but that's okay with me. No pressure. It's so nice to have you back! *hugs*
lol, well I just found out that I'm pregnant again this morning! And Leane is about the same age as your youngest. Actually, they do the same thing with the "hitting the head on the floor thing".....do you know any way to stop it or calm it down?
I am here off and seldomly on. I work a lot now, but this makes it possible for my wife to not work at all. We will be having our daughter on the 22nd of this month. Skye is loads of fun, and getting funner eveyday. He is very smart and does a lot of things I have never seen children his age do. I am very proud of him and I am looking forward to camping season. I do miss being able to spend all day, every day with him. Working sucks.
Dakota is growing like everything. He is still very much into astronauts and space things, but he has also developed an interest in dinosaurs. He did finally ask for a haircut. I waited a couple of months before I cut it, but he kept asking. Now he says he wants to let it grow long again, but it will never be as long and beautiful as it was. Ireally had a hard time cutting it. But we don't get the "Oh isn't SHE cute" stuff any more. Glad to see you back on here. Kathi
Maddie is starting softball this month! Virginia is in 4K and loving it. She is so freaking smart it's scary! And I becoming doula certified...
Everyone is getting so big *tears* Haircuts and softball, oh my! Congrats on the new baby HippyLandscaper; such a sweet daddy to work hard so mama can stay home (my hubby does that for us too)! It's crappy when you miss stuff, but so worth it, because at least you can hear about milestones from your wife instead of a stranger.
