Possible "In my Nightmare Flashback"???? PLEASE ALL READ

So, it's been about 2 months since i last tripped. I've NEVER had a flashback as to what I know of. I just started taking acid in september, but have tripped over 7times I think. But i'll let you know right now, I just woke up and I'm scared as fuck lol...

So here's what I remember. (If anyone has played Diablo II you'll know what I mean by the second description)

I'm pretty sure I was dreaming that I had ACTUALLY just woke up, and when I was "awake" (still dreaming) I told my gf that I was scared as hell from an image I saw in my dream. Right after that, I "fell back asleep" (was still already asleep in dream state), and then IDK what was going on but a Diablo II tradescreen popped up, and SOMETHING that resembled a long tapeworm appeared on the tradescreen. Right after it appeared, it "flashed" and that "flash" meant to me that the tapeworm was REAL now (for some odd reason, but thats what it represented to me in the dream).

Now this is what has me freaked out. I ACTUALLY WOKE UP afterwards. After that happened, I remember RIGHT AWAY feeling like my heart dropped, and I sat up in bed SCREAMING really loud. Once I sat up, I BLACKED OUT, and don't remember anything until I stood up in my bedroom at my door to see my roommate in front of me seeing what happened, as well as my girl scared shitless because she saw the look on my face.

My girlfriend said after I sat up, I kept screaming, started looking around and was screaming. I GOT UP OFF MY BED, and went to my sliding glass door in my room and was POUNDING on it FULL FORCE screaming for 10 seconds, then my girlfriend grabbed me and I dropped to the floor, and started screaming "GET THEM OFF ME". Then my voice started slowly tapering off, and my girlfriend started screaming its just a dream just a dream, and I woke up at the point in my doorway.

Just a couple main points that scared me was that I asked my girlfriend if she remembered me "telling her about it earlier" which I found out was just in my dream, but I actually foresaw my "freakout" in the beginning of my dream. And also, that I really did WAKEUP and sit up while screaming and then I just blacked out, and kept going with it.

Any info, drug related or not, please reply. No flames please, I just wanted to open up to the forum for help cuz I still have the chills right now and can't get back to sleep.

(Been clean off ALL drugs for 2months) so it was nothing related to actual use.

EDIT- I've NEVER had a bad trip, always in a good enviornment. I've had a nightmare like this before, not anyway related to what happened, but when I was about 8, I had 2 reoccuring dreams that I woke up still thinking i was in it, but I hadn't blacked out or anything. Both times that happened, I had the flu. Once when I was 8, and I believe a year after that.

 

I have nothing of use to say but, thats kinda awesome. Maybe not to you but its a cool story and like a horror movie moment.

 

That is terrifying...
But it also sounds like those sleep disorders they talk about on TLC where people throw things, walk around, and sometimes even beat up their bedmates...
You might try spending the night at a sleep lab, unless it's never happened before, then it's probably the drugs, in which case I have nothing for you.

 

Ya thx a lot man, Just woke up. Finally was able to get back to sleep at like 10am. Shit sccared the HELLLL outta me haha. Just a bad dream though I GUESS (maybe pushed a lil farther because of my drug use), but my neck hurts like hell because I remember when everything ended I still could feel my WHOLE neck bulging from blood pumpin, not just feelin my vein ya know. My gf said she thought I woulda broken are sliding glass window, if I did lmao, I prolly woulda jumped off our balcony, still running around screaming for a bit. Shit's bad/fun, wish I could wake up say in a highly euphoric state.

 

it sounds alot to me like a night terror. they usually only happen in young kids, but sometimes, us older folks get them too. i don't know if drugs can cause them or not, or i that's what really happened to you, but I would look into it. http://www.nightterrors.org/

 

Ya I've been looking into it, No worries about it now. Suprised it hit me that hard, and I was doing that. Only scared me because I dont ever want it to happen like that again because I coulda put my GF in danger by possibly hitting her, or even busting my window and having that taken outta my damn security deposit LMAO. But thx a lot for your input guys, and not bashing me for a scary experience I had.
