Ever notice how it's always practiced by those rich capitalists, exclusively? And what's up with that new age garbage, anyway? Wow, Yoga sure came a long way, from India, to the capitalistic market of the USA. Now you can't do Yoga by yourself, or you might "lose balance" and "hurt yourself", so you need to signup to one of those rip off sessions, instead. hm sorry, but has anyone else noticed that it has been so westernized?

i like what your saying but there are a lot of people who practice yoga alone daily for personall enrichment. I practice 3 times a day mostly because when i do it right its like a full body orgasm.

I'm sure there are some 'rich capitalists' that practice yoga. Just about anybody that does yoga can tell you that is probably a good thing. In doing yogo you connect to your real self and the earth. Hopefully through yoga, their perspective will change.

Personally, the people that I know that do yoga are great people to be around. Everyone I know does yoga by themselves as well as in classes. The only position that my teacher has said to start with a spotter is the hand stand. duh lol

The classes help to teach new positions and relaxtion techniques. They are also a good way to connect to like-minded people.

Maybe you can go to some local classes. Sometimes you have to shop around to find the right fit.
